Take a look at this AutoTex "PINK" - Black Bracketless Premium Wiper Blade - 26", Pack of 1 Average quality blades, with a feel-good perkBy B. EdwardsThese blades are obviously marketed to socially conscious buyers, with part of the profits going to breast cancer research/awareness.If you are not into that, there is no particular reason to buy these over any other blade you can find at your local auto parts store. There is nothing particularly outstanding about their quality or performance over other standard blades, nor are they any worse based on my experience.I would have given three stars, but I am bumping up one because they are supposedly giving proceeds to breast cancer research/awareness, certainly a worthy cause. I suppose one could make a case that many companies are jumping on the socially conscious boat for purely profit motives (i.e. they know they can gain a certain % of the market if they support X group/non profit/charity, etc), so I can imagine that some might be wary, but I guess it depends on how cynical you are. Installation was easy, and would have been easier had I just not even looked at the "instructions" Sheesh. If it's not self evident how to remove your current blades, get out your car manual. Most likely, you will be able to just slip these on after getting your current ones removed. Instructions made it seem harder than it really was.Bottom line: Nothing special about the blades themselves, buy if you want to hopefully support breast cancer awareness and/or research, check these out. I do wonder how MUCH they donate from each sale? They don't mention that anywhere on their site. "A portion" is as specific as I saw...that could be .0001%!
