It works just like any other winter blade. When I first installed them they chattered and after break-in they streak just like other blades. The important thing is the ice doesn't freeze inside the frame, the rubber boot keeps them flexible after a winter storm. I'm glad I didn't pay retail because then I'd be disappointed.
