I installed two new Xtravision bulbs and was impressed by the brighter light and wider coverage. Eighteen months later, I was surprised when one bulb failed. I figured the odds of the second bulb also failing were small, so I bought a single replacement. A week after I installed it, the other bulb failed, too. Ironically, this behavior suggests a high level of product consistency, but two bulbs FAILING within a week is hardly something a manufacturer should aspire to achieve. If I had not replaced the first bulb promptly, I could have found myself in a dangerous situation where both headlights were out.
